Ophelia is a UBC Geography graduate with a minor in Gender, Race, Sexuality, and Social Justice at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Currently working at the City of Vancouver’s Planning department, she is passionate about urban planning, reconciliation and Indigenous engagement, while exploring the intersections of space, identity, and power through a critical lens.
Geography
With a keen interest in GIS and social justice, Ophelia maps social (in)justice issues, using data to reveal patterns of inequality and advocate for change.

Photography

When she’s not deep in research, you’ll find her traveling with a camera in hand, capturing fleeting moments of beauty and contrast. She’s a lover of books, cats, and a slow morning over a perfectly brewed cup of pure black coffee.
